Things to know
The Jazzy®
1450 comes with FREE 1-Year In-Home Service. If
you experience a problem with your scooter during the first twelve
months, simply contact Las Vegas Scooters and Lifts to arrange for a
technician to come to your home for diagnosis and repair.
What's the Difference
Typically power wheelchairs are used by people who have limited
use or dexterity both hands such as MS and people who have suffered
with a stoke, if operating a mobility scooter is just simply to
painful or just too hard and dangerous too control then a power
wheelchair may be the option for you. With the option of either left
or right one handed joystick control placement a power chair would
probably better suit rather than a mobility scooter. Power
wheelchairs also have great place inside the home if the use has
very difficult time with standing, balance or walking very short
distances and are reliant on powered mobility to perform every day
tasks. Power wheelchairs have a very tight turning radius which
makes negotiating tight spaces allot easier than it would be on a
mobility scooter. Most power wheelchairs do not disassemble and are
lot heaver to lift and we recommend using vehicle rated to carry a power chair lift, hoist or carrier for transporting in a vehicle.
The Jazzy® 1450 is a great value for
money and is a great all
round indoor, outdoor power wheelchair, the Jazzy®
1540 allows you to
experience tight turning with its duel independent motors with 4" solid
forward anti-tip wheels, multi size option limited recline high back seat and easy
clean, large 17" x 13" flip up foot rest for total comfort and ease of access.
With its higher weight capacity rating the Jazzy®
Elite HD also has larger
Group 24 (75AH) batteries to still give you the performance and distance
that you need. Available in
either red or blue, 14” flat-free knobby drive tires for enhanced outdoor performance combined with a front-wheel drive design, FREE
60" lap belt for safety, right or left joystick positioning and rear
storage seat pocket and available in red or blue.
Most
power wheelchair do not disassembled and their components can weight a
considerable amount. To avoid injury we recommend that two people lift
this power chair or a vehicle rated to carry a power wheelchair lift,
hoist or carrier for transporting in a vehicle.
The power chair requires some assembly upon
delivery including attaching the seat, armrests and joystick (plus any accessories) and charging
the batteries for 8-12 hours prior to use. |
