Recreational scooters much larger and more rugged in design than mobility scooters and can handle rougher and adverse terrain. These types of scooters are great for transporting the user over long distances with higher top speeds and with maximum comfort. These types of scooters have many options already added like full light package, suspension, larger reclining and adjustable captains’ seat with head rests, higher top speeds and drive range. Other option choices include standard sealed lead acid batteries or choice of HI-Range Lithium-Ion. Typically recreational scooter are not transportable in a vehicle unless the vehicle is equipped with the appropriate amount of space and lifting capacity.
