What's the Difference
Typically power wheelchairs are used by people who have limited use or dexterity both hands such as MS and people who have suffered with a stoke, if operating a mobility scooter is just simply to painful or just too hard and dangerous too control then a power wheelchair may be the option for you. With the option of either left or right one handed joystick control placement a power chair would probably better suit rather than a mobility scooter. Power wheelchairs also have great place inside the home if the use has very difficult time with standing, balance or walking very short distances and are reliant on powered mobility to perform every day tasks. Power wheelchairs have a very tight turning radius which makes negotiating tight spaces allot easier than it would be on a mobility scooter. Most power wheelchairs do not disassemble and are lot heaver to lift and we recommend using vehicle rated to carry a power chair lift, hoist or carrier for transporting in a vehicle.

The LiteRider Envy heaviest piece weighs only 35 lbs to easily be lifted into the back of a vehicle. The LiteRider Envy offers a comfortable ride all day long, with a stadium-style seat and a generous footplate, plus bigger 22 amp hour batteries so you can go further than ever before! This power wheelchair also offers rear-wheel drive for easy maneuvering. If your looking for great all round power wheelchair with transport in mind the the Liteider Envy could be the one for you. The LiteRider Envy also comes with, right or left joystick positioning and rear storage seat pocket, under seat storage basket, larger removable 22AH batteries and available in multiple colors. Disassembles in to four pieces for transporting in most vehicle trunks which also allows you to charge the battery without having to reassemble the whole chair. Most power wheelchair do not disassembled and their components can weight a considerable amount. To avoid injury we recommend that two people lift this power chair or a vehicle rated to carry a power wheelchair lift, hoist or carrier for transporting in a vehicle.  

The power chair requires some assembly upon delivery including attaching the seat, armrests and joystick (plus any accessories) and charging the batteries for 8-12 hours prior to use.
