What's the Difference
Typically power wheelchairs are used by people who have limited use or dexterity both hands such as MS and people who have suffered with a stoke, if operating a mobility scooter is just simply to painful or just too hard and dangerous too control then a power wheelchair may be the option for you. With the option of either left or right one handed joystick control placement a power chair would probably better suit rather than a mobility scooter. Power wheelchairs also have great place inside the home if the use has very difficult time with standing, balance or walking very short distances and are reliant on powered mobility to perform every day tasks. Power wheelchairs have a very tight turning radius which makes negotiating tight spaces allot easier than it would be on a mobility scooter. Most power wheelchairs do not disassemble and are lot heaver to lift and we recommend using vehicle rated to carry a power chair lift, hoist or carrier for transporting in a vehicle.

The Trident HD power wheelchair with forward driven 14" wheels, forward spring assisted anti-tip and rear caster configuration is designed to give the rider better traction on uneven surfaces and obstacles. The Trident HD features large weight capacity, and larger 55AH batteries allows you to experience great distance and tight turning with its duel independent motors With easy clean flip up foot rest for easier access, two high back seat with recline and head rest. The Titan HD also comes with slide out battery tray, right or left metal cased joystick positioning, adjustable and removable arm rests and rear storage seat pocket all wrapped up in a gloss black tubular frame. Most power wheelchair do not disassembled and their components can weight a considerable amount. To avoid injury we recommend that two people lift this power chair or a vehicle rated to carry a power wheelchair lift, hoist or carrier for transporting in a vehicle.  

The power chair requires some assembly upon delivery including attaching the seat, armrests and joystick (plus any accessories) and charging the batteries for 8-12 hours prior to use.
