We get quite a few emails from
first time visitors to Las Vegas asking about
short term scooter rentals or partial rentals
for use on the strip.
If walking is of any concern
to you then there are plenty of rest places from
Casino to Casino and options of transport such
as Scooter's, Trams, Monorail, Taxi's, Limos,
Uber, and Lyft we suggest making use of these if
you can.
The Las Vegas Strip is a great
place to visit but does require a lot of
walking. We visited the strip this weekend (just
for test purposes of course) We've been visiting
Las Vegas for over ten years and lived here for
over three years. We consider ourselves as semi fit
and active but my legs are aching from just
walking from the Luxor to New York New York and
back!
The Luxor has 120,000 ft² of
casino floor of which is just a part of what you
have to walk through to get to the next hotel
which is Excalibur. You then you have the option
of the FREE tram from Luxor to Excalibur or you
can choose to use the contacting walkways which
seem to go on forever. You can also choose to go
outside and use the sidewalks and bridges which
is nice when its cool. Even after all these
years of visiting and living in Vegas I still
get lost inside the casinos which incurs a lot
of back-tracking to the disgust of Jenny! and
can add time and distance to your now trek to
the next hotel.
The Excalibur has a lot to
look at but nothing compared to Bellagio,
Venetian and Creasers Palace (of which Creasers
Palace is the same size of our home town back in
England! 300,000 ft²) The Excalibur also has
100,000 ft² of casino floor not including the
walkways upper shopping area and exit bridges oh
and dodging other people and traders.
I've always said it takes a
whole day in each casino to truly experience
each one from the décor to shopping, bars,
attractions and restaurants. Each casino resort
is like a Cruse ship but in Vegas you can hop
from one to another.
Las Vegas is Vast and
interesting and fun but also should be enjoyable
without your feet, legs, husband or wife
complaining to you.
If you require any further information please
